Cuelgo viejas fotos de mis novias de la infancia
y me siento aquí, desconsolado, con un codo en la mesa,
la barbilla en una mano, contemplando
los altivos ojos de Helen,
la débil boca de Jane,
el dorado pelo de Susan.
